I was going through and finishing up my voting to get in under the wire for the Webby's tonight and came across the portfolio for Korean designer Sunhan Kwon called guraphic.com. It is a simple design where he is the interface for the site and the content appears as his head. I'm Stephen Gates and I’ve been in the advertising business almost my whole life. I am a designer and second generation creative director and an hour from now I will probably be locked away in my studio slowly going blind working on a new design or this blog. That has to be love or insanity – since it is advertising it is probably a bit of both.
This blog is an extension of my personal portfolio site and is a collection of rants, resources, observations and advice about Web sites, usability design, technology, the advertising industry and who knows what else that are just too well done, funny or weird not share. It takes a village so let me know what you think.

The designer is a SHE (you didn't look far enough...). And yes, SHE is extremely creative. This is one of the most creative and fun designer sites I've seen. Kudos to HER! :-)
OK - but in my defense I did do my research. Sunhan is not a clearly female name, there is no indication of her gender ANYWHERE on the site and she used a MALE body for HER site. My point was that the the work was great NO MATTER WHAT RACE, GENDER or AGE of the creator. To make a compliment into something about me slighting her because she is female is insulting so do me a favor and go make drama out of nothing somewhere else.
There is a video of her in Contact. ;-) ...and sorry that you took this SO seriously! Well, that happens in text, eh?
