Doritos lets fans create their SuperBowl ad
Doritos plans to get in on the consumer-generated content movement in a big way by turning over its Super Bowl commercial over to their customers. They will bypass their agency, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, and consumers will shoot a commercial, submit it, 5 will be chosen and America will vote for their favorite. The winner will debut as a Doritos commercial on Super Bowl XLI. Come January we will see if the gamble pays off.Labels: Digital culture, Integrated advertising, Offline advertising
